Welcome to the electronic issue of MACASA News this is our next step in communicating with our members, volunteers & the world around us with up to date information on our activities.

As well as this there will still be the regular monthly issue of the Meal Service Bulletin  posted out to all clients and volunteers and members

The Maltese Aged Care Association SA is a volunteer based organization provides services for the Maltese Community that include a Monthly Activity Group, Transport, Home - delivered and pick up meals service.  We are expanding our services across Adelaide to meet the needs of our community and are  URGENTLY seeking caring and reliable volunteers who would like to assist our elderly for 2 or 3 hours each week, fortnight or monthly for the following services:-

DRIVER WANTED

Person with Van suitable for Transporting food to the Salisbury & Marion Monthly Activities Group  each Month

Volunteers Notice Board in the Kitchen

All volunteers to please read the notices in the Kitchen for any Urgent Notices and Training Notices.

All Volunteers to call the Office to arrange a time for the  collection of their Volunteer Payments.

 

For security reasons and protection for our community, ALL Volunteers must have a photo I.D.  Call Sylvia at the office on 8346 7422 to arrange a time to leave your photo for your new badge As Soon As Possible

 

Western Linkages Personal

Alarm Project

Personal alarms are used to call help in an emergency.  They can provide peace of mind, particularly for people who live alone.  A number of Personal Alarm Companies have agreed to give discounted rates to registered clients of MACASA. For more information please call—

The Seniors Information Service is looking for volunteers with computer experience to assist older members of the community to learn how to use a computer.
